Blog..

I started this blog earlier this month and nope I haven't pushed it yet to get people in to look or follow. Right now we are in a bad place in our life. Well my bf got fired so we have to put all of our stuff into storage. Our life right now after getting rid of some stuff fits into a 10 x 10 top to bottom packed, nothing else will fit in there. For now we have to live in a weekly monthly rental, kinda sucks yep. All my crafty stuff is in our storage, I miss it so bad. Been on my computer alot this week and looking at my craft mag. WOW I can't wait until things work out for us. Job and place to live, I want my stuff back..lol

Color...

I love color and since I've always rented I'm not allowed to paint. So I do have some pictures in here for my craft studio. I use a quilt on my one wall for some color. Once we move and get settled I am using some foam board and bright colored scrapbook paper to put on my wall. I'm cutting them into 9 blocks and placing on the wall. Should brighten things up. Right now because we are getting ready to move out, everything is in boxes and I miss doing my crafts so much. I started out in the corner of my old bedroom, when I lived in Michigan. Then Moved back to Vegas had half the living room because it was a huge living room. But since Steve and I have been together I must say I love having my own Craft studio, just for me. I don't have to pack everything up and put it away anymore...love it. Once we get moved and settled I will post new pics of my new craft studio, can't wait!!

Life...

So life has hit us and steve lost his job this week and I dont work so this is hurting us bad. We live where he works so we have a week to move. Until we figure out where we are going to live i won't be online much. But home things all work out fast then i'll be back..

Good Find!!

I went in my craft studio looking through a old scrap paper drawer. And I found card making stuff I bought about a year ago at Michael's. I remember buying it all on sale but I guess I forgot about it. You gotta love it, it's almost as good as going shopping.

That's the second time in a month that I found stuff I bought and forgot. I guess I need to keep better track of what I buy. Although it is fun to find forgotten craft supplies.

Happy Holidays

While Thanksgiving just past us by, I always look forward to Christmas. Even though Steve and I don't really exchange gifts, I love buying for my grand daughters and my two sons. The girls are at a age now that they are so much fun. My grand daughter Aliana turned 3 yrs on Nov, 26th I sent her a talking doll (Little Mommy Play all Day Doll). My son said when Fed ex delivered it she could hear it through the box and got so excited. I really wish I could have seen her face. But she loved it because she called and told me, she was still really excited and I could hear the doll in the back ground. Give it some time it should drive my son nuts lol.

Craft Studio

I love my little corner of creativity. I love my room although I could use alittle bigger tv. But it does keep me entertained. I try to have a area for each craft I do. I love pretty boxes they are great for storing embellishments.

My computer I use in my craft studio.

I love my quilt on my wall it really is inspiring.

I use this area for my clay or sculpting.

This my plain paper I use for cards. Embossing powders on top.

I use this table for my cutting and paper crafts.







My next big buy will be ribbon holders and shelfs.

Black Friday!!

You have to love Black friday, I know I do. When you can go to JoAnn's like I did today and get paper, 2 stamp sets and zots for little or nothing, You have to love it. It's not everyday you can get nice stamp sets for 50% off, I can't wait to get started making some cards. I will post some pictures tonight.

Crafts Crafts Crafts

I LOVE LOVE LOVE crafts. I do so many different crafts, I love making cards, dream catchers, I sew, sculpting, Jewelry making, and more. I have a nice craft studio, not as great as some I've seen lately but it works for me and I love having my own space. I just opened my Etsy store, so I'm busy with that right now but I will get some pictures in here tomorrow of my craft studio and some other crafts I've made.
